Seminar's Overview
Disruptions of road traffic and transportation are a major pain point of most cities globally and Cyprus in particular and root cause to welfare losses in business, quality of life, health and environment to levels of macro economy magnitude.
Under the label “Digital Transportation”, recent technology advances in vehicle and road user connectivity, advanced algorithmics and AI open a digital pathway to resolve aforementioned challenges – all the way up to no congestion cities. Being digital, solutions stacks can be deployed fast and at low cost, yielding benefit cost ratios well above 100:1. The training provides overview as well as deep dives regarding a broad range of those novel technologies. Contents delivered are underpinned by both best practice examples and case studies.
Need for training
Due to its novelty and high degree of innovation, knowledge regarding novel Digital Transportation is not wide spread today, neither globally nor in Cyprus. The training hence targets technology transfer to the best benefit of Cypriot economy and people’s welfare.
